Recent History

Shortly after the Klingon invasion of the Federation on 2 August Y171, the Federation training facility known as Prime Central accepted another class of prospective Primes. Consisting of the best and the brightest from various branches of service to the Federation, the few that passed the training earned membership in an elite cadre of Federation operatives.

The Klingon invasion of the Federation shattered many conceptions and paradigms. One of these was the concept of Prime Teams as solely a tool for the contact and discovery of new species and civilizations. While no formal resolution transforming Prime Teams into combat formations was passed, nearly 60% of the recent graduating class of Primes consisted of individuals with ties to the Star Fleet Marines.

The training curriculum was accelerated, and those pupils who were able to meet the stringent requirements of Prime Central were given an abbreviated graduation exercise. Immediately following the graduation, several new Prime Teams were formed. Consisting of several new graduates teamed with an experienced Prime, these teams represent the largest expansion of Prime Teams in the history of Prime Central.

One such created team is the Archons. Created around the legendary Raquel Gentry, and named for the Defenders of the Faith of the Order of Saint Andrew the Apostle, a historical tradition of the Greek Orthodox Church, the team was ordered to head towards the Klingon invasion force. In these terrible and uncertain times, with a seemingly unstoppable tempest of enemy forces sweeping across the Federation, the members of Archons Prime Team truly are the equivalant of their namesakes. They truly are Defenders of the Faith. This is their story.
